Hands, Hands, Fingers, Thumb

I recently read Hands, Hands, Fingers, Thumb by Eric Gurney to my nephew. When I was painting this passage the book kept going through my mind, "Hands, hands, fingers, thumb, dum-ditty dum-ditty dum dum dum"

No, I didn't take a knife to the canvas, and yes, I did figure out the anatomy of the arm. This is not a great pic, but you'll get to see the finished one below.
