As always, it feels so good to be starting fresh again. Landscapes are not my forte, but I think I'm going to have fun with this one.
It's amazing how strong our preconceptions can be about some of the simplest things. The mountains were green, but with the atmosphere there is always a blue or purple hue. When I was mixing the colors I couldn't believe how purple I had to go before I reached the correct color. But, when it's right, it's right.
