Blouse

The color palette for this painting is really amazing. I think it is really what makes the piece. I ended up reshooting for my reference because the model originally wore a brown jacket and with all the things to focus on in a photo shoot, I simply missed that detail. I am so glad that we did the reshoot. The color of the blouse not only ties the piece more closely to Cassatt's piece, but really helps the piece sing. (Of course I know this because I'm finished with the painting. You'll just have to trust me for another day or two!)
