War Paint

As in the last painting, I'm giving you an insiders look at the approach I take to creating depth in my paintings. First an underpainting, then a closer look at color and where is falls, blending, more layering of color, until in the end I have the desired result. It is fun to watch people observe my painting at this stage and then return later to see a more finished looked.
