Junior III

Today I was really on a roll and then had to leave the canvas. Frustrating. I was really able to push not only the darks, but also the colors. I went green on the skin until it was too green, then I pulled back. Then I went red on the skin until it was too red, then I pulled back. It's only in going too far and then pulling back that you know you've reached the limit. Being timid with color leaves the figure pale and pasty.

I not only pushed the limits on Junior III, but went back to the other figures and pushed the limits on color with them as well. I'm excited at how well and how quickly they are coming. Can't wait to get back to it tomorrow.
