Tin Roof Sunday

I didn't have as much time to work today, and I obsessed enough that I'm not sure you'll even be able to tell what I did. Some days are like that. I tend to obsess and that definitely slows down the process. But it's how I paint, so I'll work again tomorrow.

I did get a reflection on the grain mill rooftops, although I'm not sure I'm satisfied with them yet (did I mention I tend to obsess) and I did get the auger connecting the silo and the grain mill finished. I think I'm satisfied with that at least.

I'm still enjoying the process. I kept finding myself going back and reworking little spots here and there along the way. I dabbled with the shadows under the edges of the tin roofs on the silo and the grain mill. I added more shadows to the cliffs in the background. I played with a little more light and shadow on the cylindrical section of the silo. And probably a few other things as well.

So, shiny tin roof and now a day of rest :-}
