Road Trip Day 2

We headed out from The Dalles and spent the day at the Portland Art Museum and taking pictures on the road.

The day started out clear and beautiful as we drove along the Columbia River.

Soon the clouds descended on the mountains. I felt that we were in Fangorn from the Trilogy.

After the art gallery we stopped at a park and enjoyed some foliage.

We traveled from Astoria, Oregon over the Two Mile Bridge onto the Long Beach Peninsula.

It looks like a roller coaster, it Felt like a roller coaster, and you should try DRIVING on a roller coaster! As we came to the top of the spiral road it felt as though I were driving right off into thin air. My stomach is flipping even as I write this.

The roller coaster dropped onto the mouth of the river as we headed across the Two Mile Bridge.

I've always wanted to walk on water. Not quite the same, but it felt like I was literally driving on water. You can see the view from behind. And yes, I was driving and taking pictures at the same time. SHHHH. Don't tell!

***SPECIAL NOTICE***
