Past and Present

I had the option of creating a romanticized version of the scene, or including the reality of the moment. I was tempted to go romantic because there is a part of me that is a true romantic. And besides, I thought it might sell better :\

In the end I decided to make it say something. Here we see the past in the grain mills and the present in the street light. Eventually you will see signs of the future as well.

And of course you can't have a street light without a road to go with it. More evidence of the present.

The road is in its beginning stages. I will continue to work on it as I start to build the foreground.

LOL...that IS a hard choice! I am not laughing at you...it is just a kind of choice I would struggle over...although I probably would have taken the easy way out...your way has more character and story!
