The oak leaf symbolizes strength and endurance. This was also a good find on the throne. The King embodies strength, as has been mentioned before. Endurance is another quality of the King that comes into play when the third figure is introduced.
At first I felt as though I was just playing around with colors and didn't know what I was doing. But as I kept layering the colors and pushing one color too far and blending and pulling back and reworking and relayering it just kept coming and coming until all of a sudden there it was. I had carved wood on the canvas in front of me. Lots of work and just like magic all at the same time.
Too much fun!
