I've started building the areas around the babies face. I'm not detailing the background curtain yet, but I am going to develop the swaddling before I start on the face.
I worked more on the crown again today. I'm building layers at a time and will finish with a thicker impasto.

WOW...I can almost feel the satin of the swaddling...gold is not an easy color/metal/fabric to do...this s wonderful!
